Olivier GougeonRegional Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific
Olivier Gougeon was appointed Regional CEO for Asia Pacific including Hong Kong, Singapore and China in March 2011. He is responsible for pursuing the growth strategy of the private bank in Asia. He is a member of the Global and Asia Pacific Executive Committees of the private bank. Prior to this appointment, he was CEO (Singapore & South Asia) since he arrived in Asia in September 2010. Olivier Gougeon joined the Société Générale Group in 1992. After seven years in the bank’s Inspection department, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of SG Hambros Bank and Trust in Nassau, Bahamas following the acquisition of Coutts Bank & Trust Company. In 2004, he joined SG Hambros in London to take charge of the trust and wealth planning activities for corporate and institutional clients covering Great Britain, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the Bahamas. In 2006, he extended these responsibilities to the private clients. In 2007, he was promoted to Global Head of Wealth Planning and Fiduciary Services, covering from London, a team of 240 experts across 14 jurisdictions.
Patrick DreyfussDeputy Regional CEO, Regional Chief Operating Officer
Patrick Dreyfuss was appointed Deputy Regional CEO in March 2011. He was also the Regional COO since end 2005. As a key member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee, he supports the Regional CEO and also spearheads the non-front office functions. He joined Societe Generale Private Banking (Asia Pacific) in 2004, where he was responsible for the successful spin-off of the private banking operations into a new legal entity - Societe Generale Bank & Trust (Singapore branch), and the set-up of a regional hub dedicated to private banking. Prior to coming to Asia, he was with the Société Générale Group in Paris, France where he worked in the inspection department, responsible for high level audit & consulting assignments worldwide. Patrick Dreyfuss has over 15 years of experience working in the financial sector, mainly in France, Luxembourg and Singapore.
Alex Fung joined Société Générale Private Banking in 1997 and was instrumental in the set up of the Société Générale Private Banking business in Hong Kong. In March 2011, he was appointed Chairman of the private bank’s Strategy Committee for Asia. As Chairman of the Committee, he is responsible for developing the activities of the private bank in Asia Pacific, building on the transverse expertise and existing synergies within Societe Generale Group for the benefits of clients. Alex Fung has over 22 years of experience in the banking industry; mainly in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
